Dr. Howard A. Israel is an Associate Professor in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery and is a Diplomats of lite American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Israel is codirector of the TMD Facial Pain Clinic at Columbia University and is a member of the International Study Group on Anhroscopy of the Human Temporomandibular Joint. He has published extensively on osteoarthritis and synovial fluid analysis of the temporomandihular joint and is currently receiving federally funded support for research on TMJ osteoarthritis.
